The Theatrical Market

The theatrical market had been growing very constantly since the 70ties. This growth was enforced on the one side by the change of the type of cinemas: The large single screen cinemas were divided into cinemas with several screens in the 70ties.Small cinemas emerged, some of them with extremely small projection rooms (shoe box cinemas). These again were replaced by modern multiplex-cinemas with better technics and with high comfort the late 80ties.

Today we have an ideal infrastructure for the presentation of theatrical motion pictures.
